The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CrediCorp), in partnership with Sytiamo Technology Limited, is unlocking affordable credit for market women in Nigeria. This initiative begins with 10,000 women at Ariaria International Market, Aba, offering them up to N100,000 in inventory credit.
“They sell every day. They hustle non-stop. But credit? Still out of reach for most market women,” a statement from CrediCorp noted.
Through this partnership, women can now access inventory credit at low rates, helping them stock goods, boost sales, and grow their small businesses.
Credicorp confirmed, “We are starting with Ariaria Market but reaching 224 markets across 28 states. Because when women grow, markets thrive.”
