The Abia State Government has announced that the Flag-Off of TechRise 2.0 will hold on Thursday, 25th September 2025. The initiative is a three-month transformative program aimed at empowering 850 Abia youths with advanced digital skills to prepare them for opportunities in the global digital economy.
According to organisers, “TechRise 2.0 is designed to help young people become innovators, creators, and leaders of change, not just consumers of technology.” The program is powered by the Abia State Government in partnership with LearnFactory, showing the state’s commitment to building a digitally empowered Abia.
Participants will undergo hands-on training, workshops, and mentorship sessions that will equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the digital space. This digital skills training is expected to boost youth employment, encourage entrepreneurship, and position Abia as a hub for tech talent in Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
