Nigeria Police Academy Wudil releases 12RC screening schedule, requirements

September 23, 2025 – The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil in Kano State, has officially invited all applicants for the 12th Regular Course to take part in a comprehensive screening exercise starting on 6th October 2025. According to the Academy, the process will cover different stages including Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination, physical features screening, medical screening, and a selection board interview.

In a statement released, the Academy explained, “All applicants for the 12th Regular Course are invited to a comprehensive screening exercise, at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano, commencing on 6th October, 2025.”

The screening will be conducted in batches based on states of origin. The schedule begins with Batch 1 on 6th October for candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi (Batch A). Batch 2 will follow on 7th October for Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, and Borno (Batch A). Batch 3 is set for 8th October and covers Borno (Batch B), Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, and Edo (Batch A). Batch 4 comes up on 9th October for Edo (Batch B), Ekiti, Enugu, FCT-Abuja, Gombe, Imo, and Jigawa (Batch A).

On 10th October, Batch 5 will feature Jigawa (Batch B), Kaduna, and Kano (Batch A), while Batch 6 is fixed for 11th October with Kano (Batch B), Katsina, Kebbi, and Kogi (Batch A). Batch 7 will take place on 12th October for Kogi (Batch B), Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, and Ogun (Batch A). Batch 8 will hold on 13th October for Ogun (Batch B), Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Plateau (Batch A). On 14th October, Batch 9 will cover Plateau (Batch B), Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, and Yobe (Batch A). The exercise ends on 15th October with Batch 10 for Yobe (Batch B) and Zamfara.

Candidates are required to bring original and photocopies of their primary school leaving certificate, SSCE results, JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, L.G.A indigene certificate, letter of identification, guarantor’s form, medical certification of fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, four passport photographs, and application acknowledgment slip printed from the Polac admission portal.

The dress code for the screening is white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes. The Academy stressed, “Candidates should note that they will not be attended to before or after the dates indicated against their states of origin.”

Applicants have also been advised to check the Polac admission portal for updates and warned to beware of fake social media accounts impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.
