The Sokoto State government has addressed concerns over the ongoing recruitment exercise following reports that some qualified indigenes were facing difficulties obtaining recruitment forms from their local government areas.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Press Secretary, the state recruitment committee said it is aware of the dilemma and assured applicants that measures have been put in place to make the process easier.
“Any qualified state indigene with a first degree, HND, or NCE is free to go to the portal and apply with or without forms,” the committee stated.
The committee also clarified that all forms are completely free and no local government area has been given a limited number of forms.
It urged applicants to visit the official recruitment portal at https://employment.sokotostate.gov.ng, which will remain open until October 6.
The committee called on all well-meaning citizens to support and cooperate to ensure the success of the recruitment exercise.
