Women Techsters has announced the launch of the International Day of the Girl Child 2025 Video Competition under the theme “AI Generation, Our Generation.” The initiative invites girls between the ages of 13 and 18 to showcase their creativity and vision for the future of artificial intelligence.
According to the organizers, “This is your chance to share your voice, creativity, and vision of how AI is shaping your world.” The competition aims to highlight the perspectives of young girls on how technology impacts their generation.
Participants are required to record a short video of not more than two minutes on the theme “AI Generation, Our Generation.” After recording, the video must be posted on their personal social media pages using the hashtags #IDOGC2025, #AIGenerationOurGeneration, and #Tech4DevAlChallenge.
Prizes include a Digital Ambassador Spotlight and branded merchandise for selected winners. The organizers emphasized, “Don’t just watch the future, be the voice that inspires it.”
The competition is open globally to girls aged 13–18, with the submission deadline set for October 20, 2025. This campaign is part of efforts to inspire and empower the next generation of women in technology.
