The Oracle–ZITDA Skills Development Initiative (SDI) has officially released the first batch of successful candidates for the fully-funded global tech certification programme.
According to the organisers, a total of 7,017 applications were received for the programme. Out of this number, 4,008 applications were completed, while 3,008 were considered valid. After screening, 1,852 applicants were qualified, with 1,648 being male and 204 female.
In a statement, the initiative confirmed, “We are pleased to announce that the first batch of shortlisted learners will now begin their journey into world-class training under Oracle University.”
Successful candidates will be given access to specialised training in Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Oracle APEX Development, Autonomous Database and Cloud Security, and Cloud Applications including HCM, ERP, CX, and SCM.
Applicants are advised to check their status by visiting the official portal at https://www.recruitment.zamfara.gov.ng/. To confirm, candidates can log in using their phone number, email address, or application ID.
The announcement further noted, “Selected candidates will receive detailed instructions via email and SMS. We encourage all applicants to ensure that their contact details remain active.”
Organisers expressed gratitude to participants, saying, “To all applicants — thank you for your interest and enthusiasm. More batches will be announced soon under our goal to train 3,000 Zamfara youth in world-class tech skills.”
