The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0 has begun sending rejection emails to applicants who did not meet the updated eligibility criteria following the recent review of applications. Many participants confirmed receiving messages notifying them of their status after the revalidation process concluded.
According to the statement issued by the NJFP Team, “We sincerely thank you for participating in the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0 revalidation exercise and for your continued commitment to the programme’s vision.” The email further stated that the decision was made after a thorough review to ensure that the new framework strengthens the programme’s overall impact and aligns better with Nigeria’s changing labour market needs.
“Following a careful review of the information provided during the revalidation process, we regret to inform you that you do not meet the updated eligibility requirements for participation in NJFP 2.0. This decision was reached based on the revised framework, which has been designed to strengthen the Programme’s impact and align with the evolving needs of Nigeria’s labour market,” the statement read.
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme, a youth employment initiative supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Federal Government of Nigeria, aims to connect skilled graduates with work opportunities across various sectors.
The NJFP Team expressed appreciation to all participants, stating, “We truly value the patience, resilience, and dedication you have demonstrated as part of the NJFP talent pool, and we recognise the effort you have invested in this journey.”
