The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has begun a transformative effort to strengthen its operations through purpose-driven performance. During a two-day retreat on the Performance Management System, the Honourable Minister of State, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, emphasized the importance of measurable outcomes and accountability in achieving the ministry’s goals.

He said the ministry aims to build a high-performance culture based on clarity of purpose, continuous engagement, and recognition of excellence. The initiative supports the Federal Government’s wider vision for efficient service delivery.

Permanent Secretary Yakubu Adamu Kofarmata stated that the Performance Management System serves as a cornerstone of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2025, ensuring transparency and improved public service outcomes.
