Fidelity Bank has confirmed that account numbers beginning with 668 belong to the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP), while those starting with 667 are regular Fidelity Savings accounts.
In a direct conversation with Fidelity Bank support, a YEIDEP applicant asked, “You have opened YEIDEP account for beneficiaries, but some are receiving account numbers with the first three digits starting from 667, and some are 668. What does this mean, please? And what is the difference?”
Fidelity Bank replied, “Kindly be informed that the 668 account is a YEIDEP account, however, the 667 is a Fidelity Savings Account.”
