The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a circular to all prospective Capital Market Operators regarding the fourth quarter (Q4) 2025 pre-registration training and examination. This announcement follows the earlier circular released on October 28, 2025, notifying applicants of an adjustment to the schedule of activities.
According to the Commission, the next cycle of the pre-registration training and examination is set to begin on Monday, November 10, 2025. The Commission stated, “Eligible applicants include those who were invited but did not attend the pre-registration training conducted in July 2025, those who participated in the July 2025 training but did not pass the examination, and other applicants who have met the necessary requirements for participation.”
The SEC emphasized that participation in the upcoming pre-registration training and examination will depend on the completion of the registration process on the designated application portal. “Applicants are expected to complete the registration process as specified in the email notification sent by the Commission,” the circular noted.
The Commission further informed all prospective applicants that the registration process must be completed on or before Thursday, November 6, 2025.
In a statement, the SEC reminded applicants of its regulatory policy, saying, “In line with SEC Rule 3(6)(b), any registration application will expire if the applicant fails to meet the stated requirements within twelve months of submission. Such applicants will be required to submit a new registration application.”
