Circulating claims have suggested that the judges assigned to the ongoing N-Power case have travelled to Kenya, leading to a postponement of the court sitting until December 1st. The case, which involves former N-Power beneficiaries seeking justice over unpaid benefits, was originally scheduled to hold on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the National Industrial Court in Abuja.
The suit, marked NICN/ABJ/214/2025, is between Anaidu Shehu and nine others against the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and three other defendants. According to the notice issued by the court, “TAKE NOTICE that the above mention case will now be listed for Mention before the National Industrial Court sitting at 10, Port-Harcourt Crescent Area 11, Garki, and Abuja on Tuesday 4th November, 2025 at 9.00 a.m.”
The document further states, “AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that this Notice shall be sufficiently served on you, if is left at your address for service or sent by registered post.” The notice was dated September 1, 2025, and signed by the Chief Registrar. However, it is important to note that the travel claim regarding the judges remains a circulating claim and has not been officially confirmed.
