The Lagos State government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, has again highlighted its commitment to food security by announcing the winners of the Lagos Agrithon 2025. The announcement was made in partnership with the Lagos Agrinnovation Club, which said, “We are pleased to present the outstanding winners of the Lagos Agrithon 2025,” acknowledging the strong innovation displayed this year. A total grant pool of ₦150 million was awarded to 34 agripreneurs who pitched projects designed to strengthen Lagos food systems and support agricultural productivity.
The Lagos Agrinnovation Club noted that the teams presented practical ideas in smart farming, food processing, agrimedia and sustainability, showing their readiness to build solutions for a growing city. The grand winners were unveiled on Thursday at the Lagos Agrinnovation Summit 2.0, where the finalists showcased technology-driven models and new approaches to value chain development.
In the ₦7,500,000.00 category, Hoïrs & Heralds, FarmSpeak Technology, Agrisiti and nutriq were recognised for advanced innovations that aim to boost productivity. Revosmart Integrated Services, VoTF Voice of the Farmers and Tayart Foods received ₦5,000,000.00 each for contributions to food safety and digital farming tools.
Other ₦5,000,000.00 recipients included printy & packer, Metalg Integrated Technology, Chips, Rid Labs, Farmintel, Soso Farms and Zous Studio, along with Seed and Story, AquaSense+, Pemnía Wellness, Village Farms Green Energy Limited, Admiralty, South–West Palms and mama DORA.
The ₦3,000,000.00 group featured NECTAR Agrosolutions, TSVE Foods, Dulces, Colport, The Calcium Hub, KFL and El Gazelle, all contributing to rural development and food supply chains. QiqiFarms and MYFERTILIZER received ₦3,000,000.00 each, while Sundry earned ₦2,500,000.00, YKG Farms and CFI received ₦2,000,000.00 each, and Kamroot Farms was awarded ₦1,500,000.00.
The Lagos Agrinnovation Club said the fund will help the selected agripreneurs scale their solutions, create new agricultural jobs, support local food production and strengthen the state’s long-term economic growth efforts.
