Kreston Pedabo has announced the launch of its first Graduate Trainee Programme 2025, targeting young Nigerian graduates interested in building careers in the oil and gas industry. The company described the initiative as an intensive learning experience designed to equip trainees with practical skills and industry exposure.
The programme will run in Lagos and Port Harcourt, with field rotations on both onshore and offshore sites. It explained that trainees will participate in classroom sessions, field-based learning, and guided tours of offshore rigs. The company said the available roles include engineers, a data analyst, accountants, and a legal analyst.
The management noted that applicants must have a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division in fields such as engineering, geology, geophysics, industrial chemistry, computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, accounting, economics, or law. It added that completion of the National Youth Service Corps is compulsory. The firm stated that it is looking for candidates with strong numeric abilities, analytical thinking, teamwork, communication skills, and a clear interest in the energy and offshore sector. It also emphasised the need for a willingness to learn quickly.
