The Katsina State Health Workers Recruitment Committee has uncovered a scheme where fake Remita payment receipts were produced and sold to applicants taking part in the state’s ongoing health recruitment exercise.
The discovery was made during verification at the Malumfashi Centre, where some candidates were found presenting forged documents.
According to the Committee, both the applicants involved and the syndicate members behind the fake receipts have been handed over to security agencies for investigation. Chairman Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana advised all applicants to ensure their documents are genuine, saying the Committee will not tolerate fraud in the recruitment process.
