Borno State Scholarships Board has issued a public announcement inviting qualified indigenes to apply for aviation degree programs in Aircraft Piloting and Aircraft Engineering. The board said the call is open to interested youths who meet the required academic standards and wish to build careers in the aviation sector.
Applicants are required to submit SSCE results with credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and either Geography or Biology, Agriculture, Further Mathematics or Technical Drawing. Other documents include an indigene certificate, birth certificate, 2025 JAMB result showing a minimum score of 160, and a primary school certificate.
According to the notice, applications must be submitted on or before Thursday, 4th December, 2025 at the Borno State Scholarships Board office in Maiduguri.
The board added that all qualified applicants must sit for an aptitude test scheduled for Friday, 5th December, 2025 at the ICT Centre, Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri by 8:00 AM. Candidates are advised to come with their original JAMB slips and credentials for verification.
