Eventhive to Host Lagos Tech Fest 2026 With 3000 Global Participants

Eventhive, Africa’s leading B2B2C event servicing company, has announced the sixth edition of its flagship technology gathering, the Lagos Tech Fest, with expectations to host over 3,000 participants from across the globe.

The annual event forms part of the Africa Tech Series, Eventhive’s pan-African platform for technology and innovation dialogue, which brings together fintech and technology stakeholders in major cities including Lagos, London, Nairobi, Kigali and Johannesburg.

Scheduled for February 17 and 18, 2026, the Lagos Tech Fest will convene technology leaders, startup founders, innovators, investors, global technology companies and government representatives to deliberate on the future of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem and explore emerging opportunities within the African digital economy.

Organisers said the 2026 edition is projected to be the largest since inception, featuring over 70 industry-leading speakers, participation from more than 1,000 companies across 25 countries, and support from over 80 sponsors and 40 media partners. New to this edition are four dedicated stages known as the Money Stage, Off The Record Stage, Innovation Stage and Founder Stage, designed to encourage focused conversations across key areas of the ecosystem.

Activities planned for the festival include conferences, closed-door roundtables, live pitch sessions, exhibitions, networking sessions and an industry party aimed at driving investment and collaboration within Nigeria’s fast-growing technology space.

The event will take place across multiple venues in Lagos, with activities scheduled for Four Points by Sheraton and The Garden, Ikoyi and Victoria Island, on February 17, 2026, and the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, on February 18, 2026. Ahead of the main conference, the Nigeria Tech Leadership Roundtable will be held on February 17 at Four Points by Sheraton, VI, bringing together executives and government officials for discussions on policy direction and ecosystem growth.

Other highlights of the Lagos Tech Fest include the Nigeria States Pavilion, which will showcase technology ecosystems across various states, and an expanded expo featuring innovative solutions expected to shape Nigeria’s tech industry.

An exclusive networking event tagged After Dark Hours is scheduled to hold at The Garden, Ikoyi, on the evening of February 17, offering participants an informal setting to connect.

Speaking on the announcement, Chief Executive Officer of Eventhive, Jamiu Ijaodola, described the Lagos Tech Fest as a critical platform for shaping Nigeria’s digital future. “Lagos Tech Fest is the annual engine room where the blueprint for Nigeria’s digital future is drawn. The introduction of four focused stages will ensure that participants gain actionable insights and build valuable connections. Our commitment is to create a platform that drives large-scale investment and collaboration needed to cement Nigeria’s position as Africa’s leading tech hub,” he said.

The 2026 edition will feature speakers including Uzoma Dozie, CEO of Sparkle; Tayo Oviosu, CEO of Paga; Olumide Balogun, Director, West Africa, Google; Ojoma Ochai, Managing Director of CcHub Africa; Dr. Abasi Ene-Obong, CEO of Syndicate Bio; Lexi Novitske, General Partner at Norrsken22; Adedeji Olowe, Founder of Lendsqr; and Victoria Fabunmi, National Coordinator, Nigerian Digital Innovation at NITDA.
