Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has directed the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to revert to the original online list of successful candidates from the recent CSC recruitment exercise, leading to the cancellation of all 2025 Adamawa CSC recruitment appointment letters already issued.

The development was disclosed by Abaubakar Umar Maiha, Permanent Secretary of the Adamawa Civil Service Commission.

“The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission wishes to kindly inform all applicants for the 2025 recruitment exercise that all appointment letters previously issued, including those not yet collected, have been invalidated,” the statement said.

According to the Commission, the decision followed “recent reports and review of our internal administrative processes within the commission.”

“In light of this, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has directed the Commission to revert to the original list of successful candidates, as published online weeks ago, to ensure transparency and fairness in the process,” it added.

Maiha further disclosed that the Governor has ordered an investigation into what was described as the insertion and omission saga.

“This step is being taken to uphold the integrity of the recruitment exercise and ensure that deserving candidates are given the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the state’s civil service,” the Commission stated.

The Commission said it will provide further details on the collection of appointment letters in an upcoming bulletin soon for all affected applicants statewide across Adamawa State very soon.
