Lafarge Africa Plc has announced the opening of its 2025 Technical Skills Development Programme (TSDP) Placement for qualified Ordinary National Diploma (OND) holders across Nigeria. The company said the initiative is part of its long-term plan to build technical capacity and support employment opportunities in the industrial sector.
According to a statement, “Dragnet Solutions does not request payment from candidates for participation or selection in this campaign,” warning applicants to beware of any fraudulent requests during the recruitment process.
The programme, which will run for 18 months, offers multi-skilled vocational training in key technical disciplines. These include Maintenance Processes such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation, Welding and Fabrication Technology, as well as Cement Manufacturing Processes like Production, Process, and Quality.
Lafarge explained that the training is designed to help participants develop both technical and professional skills needed to become self-employed or employable in their chosen fields. Successful candidates will enjoy tuition-free lectures, practical sessions, and receive a token allowance to cover basic expenses.
On completion, participants will be awarded the Lafarge Internal Certificate.
The company stated that applicants must have completed an OND from a recognized institution and possess at least five O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and another subject in not more than two sittings.
