The federal government through Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has opened applications for business owners to participate in its upcoming Product Export Seminar. The initiative is targeted at Nigerian entrepreneurs whose products have strong global demand but who face challenges understanding export processes, regulations, and market entry strategies.
The training is designed to bridge the knowledge gap that prevents many local businesses from competing effectively in international markets. The agency noted that while Nigeria produces exportable goods across different sectors, limited access to practical export knowledge remains a major barrier for many SMEs.
