The Federal Government has restated its commitment to deliver a baseline of 100 housing units in each local government area of the federation to enhance urban development and make life bearable for citizens.

Dangiwa explained that the approach is designed to ensure that federal programmes, reforms, finance opportunities and private capital are translated into visible housing projects at the state level that directly benefit citizens.
He said, “The objective of the framework is to ensure that the Ministry and all Federal housing institutions operate as one government with complementary and clearly defined roles, while providing state and local governments with a predictable and credible framework for collaboration on housing delivery.”
The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Mallam Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has entrusted the Ministry with the responsibility of transforming Nigeria’s housing and urban development sector into an engine of opportunity, equity and national progress for all Nigerians.
