The Federal Ministry of Education has commenced the display of attendance records for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) trainees on the portal, marking monitoring. Beneficiaries are now required to check their TVET dashboard to confirm their attendance status and percentage.
According to FME update for trainees, only those with 65 percent attendance will be paid, making the dashboard review important for beneficiaries. Trainees have been advised to log in and review their records, as attendance is now being added to everybody’s dashboard.
Attendance is based on biometric records. Those that record attendance with biometric are captured on the system. TVET beneficiaries are encouraged to check their dashboard to avoid issues.
However, some trainees have raised concerns that despite not missing any TVET attendance since November, they are seeing “No Data” under the attendance section. The Ministry noted that TVET has started adding attendance data and advised beneficiaries to keep checking.
To check TVET attendance percentage, trainees should log in to portal via https://www.tvet.education.gov.ng now.
