The Enugu State Government has announced plans to commence the Digital Skilling Mentorship Programme for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, aimed at improving digital capacity across the state. The programme is being organised by the Enugu SME Center in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, in line with the vision of Governor Peter Mbah to build a digitally driven, innovation-led economy.
The Digital Skilling Mentorship Program for MSMEs, tagged DSMP–MSME, will hold from February 11 to February 13, 2026. The initiative is designed to help small and medium businesses gain practical digital skills, access expert mentorship, and leverage technology to grow, compete and scale sustainably.
A statement from the Enugu SME Center said participants should expect “practical digital business and technology skills, one-on-one and group mentorship from industry experts, improved online visibility and market access.” The centre added that the programme will provide support aligned with national digital transformation goals.
The training is open to start-ups and established MSMEs across all 17 local government areas. Registration is, and applications close on February 4, 2026.
