BOA begins application verification for RHNAMP Agricultural Program

The Bank of Agriculture (BOA) has said it is currently verifying all submitted applications under the Renewed Hope National Agricultural Mechanization Program (RHNAMP).

BOI disclosed this on Monday, adding that it is aware of recent posts and articles circulating online, including on social media and some websites, claiming that applications are open for agricultural loans, grants, and the RHNAMP, and said the Bank wishes to clarify the situation.

According to the Bank, “the RHNAMP program is real and targets women, youth, and agro-service companies in line with Nigeria’s food security agenda,” but it stressed that “this is not a free program.”

The Bank explained that applicants are required to meet eligibility criteria and make financial commitments under its approved support schemes, contrary to reports suggesting that the program offers access to funding or equipment.

It stated that applications for RHNAMP and related programs have long been closed and that the Bank is “currently in the process of verifying all submitted applications.”

BOA said further information and updates on applicants will be communicated only through official BOA channels and noted that it does not endorse or recognize unverified links or third-party websites claiming to offer such opportunities.

Nigerians were advised to rely on information published via the official BOA website, www.boanigeria.com, and verified BOA social media handles.

The Bank warned that “any circulation of false or misleading information regarding the Bank’s programs will be treated seriously” and urged the public to exercise caution.
