The Government of Anambra State has commenced plans to establish a Silicon Valley–style technology hub following the transformation of the old Government House into the permanent site for the Solution Innovation District.

The old Government House previously served as the administrative seat of power in the state before activities were relocated to the new Government House, popularly known as the Light House, after its inauguration in June 2025.

The facility is being repurposed to host the Solution Innovation District, expected to serve as a shared space for innovators, inventors, technologists, social entrepreneurs, tech companies, government agencies, investors, digital tribes and smart artisans working on solutions to local and global challenges.
