Bauchi approves N888.5m NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, JAMB fees for students

The Bauchi State Government has approved N888,507,400.00 for the payment of external examination fees, JAMB and CBT training for students in public secondary schools across the state.

The approval was granted under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON, Kauran Daular Usmaniyya. The fund covers registration for several key examinations. A total of 22,646 students will sit for the National Examinations Council (NECO), 2,064 students for the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), and 207 students for the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS). In addition, 6,562 students will benefit from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration and CBT training.

In total, 24,917 students across Bauchi State will benefit from the intervention.

The Bauchi State Ministry of Education expressed appreciation, stating, “This gesture will undoubtedly ease the burden on parents and guardians while empowering thousands of young people to pursue higher education and career opportunities.”

Jalaludeen Usman, Anipr, Information and Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Ministry of Education, signed the statement.
