The Police Service Commission has released the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) list of shortlisted candidates for the 2026 recruitment screening exercise. The physical and credentials screening will commence on 9 March 2026 and continue until 18 April 2026 across all 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Candidates who successfully completed the online registration can now check their shortlist status and begin preparations for the screening. Only applicants whose status shows “Verification Successful” and who uploaded all required documents during registration have been shortlisted.
All shortlisted candidates are required to print their Application Submission Slip, Invitation Slip, Credentials Screening Form, and Physical Screening Form from the portal. They must also print and duly complete the Guarantors Form. These documents must be brought to the designated screening centre on the scheduled date and time. Applicants who fail to present the correct documents or do not comply with the guidelines risk disqualification.
In addition, candidates must come along with the original NIN printout or NIMC-issued card, O’ Level (GCE/SSCE) Certificate, Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, Local Government/State of Origin Certificate, and Trade Test Certificate (for specialist applicants only). Original and duplicate copies of credentials must be arranged in two white flat files, with recent passport photographs attached. The Guarantors Form must be duly completed and signed, with referees’ passport photographs attached.
All candidates must appear in a white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white stockings. Failure to comply may lead to disqualification.
To proceed, click the “Print Form” button on the portal and bring the printed copies to your screening venue. PSC/NPF officials will complete Sections B and C during the screening process.
To confirm Nigeria Police shortlist status, visit the NPF portal at https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng/ and log in with your NIN.
Congratulations to all shortlisted candidates.
