The Lagos State Scholarship Board has extended the application deadline for its 2025/2026 Bursary and Scholarship Awards to March 6, 2026, giving eligible students additional time to complete their registration.
In a public service announcement released by its Public Affairs Unit on Sunday via its official Facebook page, the Board confirmed that the portal will now close on Friday, March 6, 2026. According to the statement, the extension is intended to provide another opportunity for qualified Lagos State indigenous students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria who are yet to successfully submit their applications.
The Board emphasized that this extension is final. It clearly stated that there will be no further extension beyond the new deadline and that late registrations will not be entertained under any circumstances. Students were also advised to forward any complaints or registration-related issues within the open application window, as no complaints will be treated after the portal closes.
The 2025/2026 Lagos State Bursary and Scholarship Awards are open to newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session, as well as previously admitted Lagos State indigenes who did not apply in prior years. Applicants must be enrolled in recognized tertiary institutions within Nigeria to qualify.
With the March 6 deadline fast approaching, students are strongly encouraged to act promptly and ensure all required details are correctly submitted before the portal closes.
