The Osun State Government has released the first batch list of successful applicants recruited as teachers into public primary and secondary schools across the state.
The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, in a press statement issued in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to the statement, the recruitment is part of the government’s effort to strengthen the education sector by bringing in qualified teachers to support learning in public schools.
The government also announced that the successful applicants will begin collecting their letters of appointment from Monday, 9 March 2026.
Applicants who participated in the recruitment exercise are advised to check the released list online or visit designated government offices to confirm their status.
These offices include the Osun State Civil Service Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) headquarters, all located in Osogbo.
The government encouraged the newly recruited teachers to serve diligently and contribute positively to the development of education in Osun State.
