The initiative is designed for ambitious youths who want to build successful careers in the agricultural sector while developing strong business skills.
The Saro Youthpreneurship Initiative aims to equip entrepreneurial-minded youths with the skills, training, and support needed to become successful agribusiness owners. Through structured learning and mentorship, participants will gain practical knowledge that helps them grow sustainable agricultural ventures.
The programme offers practical training, entrepreneurial guidance, and regular support from experienced experts in the agricultural industry. Participants will not only learn modern farming practices but will also develop the mindset and tools required to run and grow profitable agricultural businesses. The initiative focuses on helping young farmers build long-term success and secure their future through agriculture.
To qualify, applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, flexible and energetic, and must reside in a farming community within Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Gombe, Kano, Bauchi, Plateau, or Nasarawa State. Applicants should also have an understanding of farm practices and be fluent in the local dialect.
