The Nasarawa State Government has opened an online portal for indigent students studying in accredited tertiary institutions across Nigeria to apply for the 2024/2025 state bursary allowance.
The bursary programme is aimed at supporting students from Nasarawa State who are currently enrolled in recognised universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country. The initiative is part of the state government’s effort to ease the financial burden on students from low-income backgrounds and encourage continued access to higher education.
Applications will be submitted entirely online through the official bursary portal. Eligible students are required to complete the registration process by providing the necessary personal and academic details on the platform.
The portal opened for applications on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Interested applicants can begin submitting their applications immediately after the portal goes live.
The application window will remain open until 25 March 2026 at 10:00 p.m. Students are advised to complete their registration within this period, as late submissions will not be accepted.
Civil servants and newly admitted students, including those admitted through Direct Entry, are not eligible to apply for the bursary.

After successful submission, applicants are required to print their registration slip for the physical screening exercise to be scheduled later.
