The Bank of Industry (BOI) has warned the public that applications for the Federal Government MSME Intervention Fund are currently not ongoing.
In a notice issued to the public, the bank said it had observed the circulation of SMS messages containing links to websites claiming to offer fresh applications for the fund.
BOI clarified that such messages and websites are fraudulent and not connected to the bank. “No new applications are currently being accepted for the FGN MSME Intervention Fund,” the bank stated.
The bank also cautioned Nigerians against engaging with the links or making payments related to the fake process. It advised the public to “disregard such messages and refrain from making any payments” connected to the purported applications.
