The Jigawa State Youth Empowerment Agency has opened applications for the Danmodi Youth Skills Initiative (DYSI) 2026, a structured programme designed to equip young people with practical, income-generating skills. This initiative focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship, reducing unemployment, and supporting sustainable community development across the state.

Training Locations and Structure
Training will take place across four centres:
- Dutse
- Hadejia
- Gumel
- Kazaure
It is important to note that:
- Carpentry and Welding are the only courses available in Hadejia, Gumel, and Kazaure
- All other skill programmes are offered exclusively in Dutse

- ICT Training
- Tailoring (Male & Female)
- Catering
- Beauty Care and Hair Dressing
- Leather Work
- Automobile Training
- Fisheries
- Embroidery and Bead Making
- Renewed Hope Training
Other centres focus on:

- Welding
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be residents of Jigawa State
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be currently unemployed
- Be committed to completing the programme
- Provide accurate and verifiable information
