Fidelity Bank Plc has announced the launch of its Sales Academy programme aimed at recruiting and training young Nigerians seeking to build careers in sales.
The bank disclosed this in a post shared on its official Facebook page on Friday, describing the initiative as a transformational programme designed to equip participants with the skills needed to succeed in a competitive business environment.
According to the lender, the Sales Academy is targeted at “dreamers, doers, and driven individuals” who are willing to grow, evolve, and achieve professional success in sales and customer engagement roles.
The programme, it noted, is part of its broader commitment to developing talent and supporting career growth among young professionals across the country.
Fidelity Bank stated that applicants must be 26 years of age or younger and demonstrate a strong interest in building a career in sales.
Prospective candidates are also required to have a minimum of five credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English Language, as well as proof of completion of the National Youth Service Corps programme.
In addition, applicants must possess either a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower division or a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit.
The bank further emphasised the need for candidates to have a valid National Identification Number alongside an additional means of identification such as an international passport, voter’s card, or driver’s licence.
Beyond academic qualifications, the bank said it is seeking individuals with strong sales drive, effective communication skills, and the ability to negotiate and close deals, while also demonstrating sound credit awareness and analytical competence.
Fidelity Bank said applications for the Sales Academy opened on March 27 and will close in two weeks.
Interested candidates are advised to submit their applications through the bank’s official portal at https://www.fidelitybank.ng/sales/.
The bank encouraged eligible applicants to take advantage of the opportunity, noting that the programme offers a pathway to building a rewarding and impactful career in sales.
