Participants are also required to publish their entries on any social media platform and tag the Bauchi State Bureau for ICT using the hashtags #PrivacyWeek and #BauchiPrivacyWeek as part of the participation guidelines.

The organisers disclosed that winners of the competition will receive cash prizes, with N150,000 for first place, N100,000 for second place and N50,000 for third place.

They added that the challenge is designed to blend creativity with education, while encouraging citizens to think critically about how personal data is collected, used and protected in the digital space.

The Privacy Week campaign forms part of the state government’s broader efforts to strengthen digital awareness and promote safe online practices among residents.
