The Kwara State Government, through the Office of the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, has officially opened applications for qualified individuals to serve as instructors in the 2026 Kwara Coding & Digital Literacy Programme.
This initiative is designed to equip students in public schools across Kwara State with essential 21st-century skills, including coding, digital literacy, and foundational knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI). It reflects the state’s broader commitment to strengthening human capital development and preparing young people for a technology-driven future.
About the Programme
The Kwara Coding & Digital Literacy Programme is a state-wide intervention aimed at integrating modern digital skills into the public education system. Selected instructors will play a critical role in delivering structured training, mentoring students, and supporting the implementation of the programme across designated schools.
Participants engaged as instructors are expected to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, teaching ability, and a commitment to community development.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of coding, digital tools, or related technical fields
- Ability to teach and communicate effectively with students
- Prior experience in training, teaching, or mentoring is an added advantage
- Commitment to contributing to educational development within Kwara State
Responsibilities of Instructors
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Deliver coding and digital literacy lessons in assigned schools
- Guide students through practical and project-based learning
- Support curriculum implementation and programme objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback where necessary
