The Katsina State Government Committee set up to conduct the ongoing teachers recruitment exercise has announced the release of the list of shortlisted candidates who passed the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for teaching positions in primary and secondary schools across the state.

According to the official press release signed by the Committee Secretary, Isah Idris Zakari PhD, all applicants who participated in the recruitment exercise are expected to visit the official recruitment portal to check their interview status and download their interview slips.

The committee stated that the interview slip contains important information including the interview date, venue, and time assigned to each successful candidate.

Applicants are advised to print and present the slip at their interview venue.

How to Check Interview Status

Applicants are expected to follow the steps below to check their recruitment status:

  • Visit the official recruitment portal
  • Enter your Application Code
  • Enter the email address used on your acknowledgement slip
  • Click on “Check Status”
  • Candidates who have been shortlisted for interview will be able to download their interview slip

Important Instructions for Candidates

The committee also directed all shortlisted applicants to come to the interview venue with original copies of their academic and professional credentials.

Candidates must also present a valid means of identification during the interview process.

The government said only candidates who successfully passed the CBT stage and received interview invitations through the portal will proceed to the next phase of the recruitment exercise.

The recruitment exercise is part of efforts to strengthen teaching capacity across public primary and secondary schools in Katsina State.

The committee urged applicants to carefully check the details on their interview slips and arrive at their designated venues on time to avoid disqualification.
