The Nigerian Army has opened its portal for applications into the 92 Regular Recruits Intake (92 RRI) under its special recruitment exercise for skilled men and women.

The recruitment is specifically open to qualified Nigerians with technical skills in selected fields, including Boat Operators, Marine Mechanics, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, as well as other technical apprentices.
The online application will run from 16 September to 21 October 2026. Successful applicants will proceed to the Recruitment Screening Exercise, which is scheduled to take place from 17 November to 1 December 2026 in the respective states of origin of the selected candidates.
Requirements
Interested candidates who meet the requirements are expected to complete their applications online through the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal.
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years by 21 October 2026.
The Nigerian Army emphasized that the recruitment exercise is free of charge. Candidates are advised not to pay anyone for the application or for promises of selection into the Army.
Applicants are also required to apply only once, as submitting multiple applications could lead to disqualification.
Candidates will also be expected to bring duly signed copies of the required documents, including the relevant forms and certifications, during the recruitment process.
Recruitment into the Army is a call to national service and involves a competitive selection process. Therefore, submitting an application does not guarantee employment.
Eligible candidates are advised to complete their applications before the 21 October 2026 deadline and rely on the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal for further information and updates.
Candidates must submit their applications online after printing their Photo Cards, as failure to do so could result in disqualification.
