The National Information Technology Development Agency has announced the 2026 Capture The Flag (CTF) Competition, powered by Cisco, as an opportunity for participants to build cybersecurity skills and tackle real-world challenges.

The competition is designed to help participants sharpen their problem-solving abilities while gaining access to Cisco Networking Academy resources. Participants who complete the required courses and meet the stated performance conditions can earn Cisco certificates and badges.
The programme involves three cybersecurity courses covering Network Defense, Endpoint Security and Cyber Threat Management. Participants are expected to complete the courses on Cisco Networking Academy and achieve a minimum score of 80 per cent, with the required passes achieved on the first attempt.
Successful participants can qualify for preparation for the live Capture the Flag challenge, where they will compete against others. The competition also offers recognition and rewards, with participants set to be recognised at the Director-General of NITDA International Cisco Safari Dinner.
Requirements
Applicants are required to apply and enrol, complete all three courses on Cisco Networking Academy, and achieve the stated minimum score. Participants must pass the required courses on their first attempt to qualify for the next stage. They must also obtain the Cisco certificates and badges for the completed courses before proceeding to the live CTF challenge.
How to apply
Interested participants can apply and enrol through the NITDA Capture the Flag Competition 2026 application page. The courses opened on September 14 and will remain open until October 5, 2026. The live CTF is scheduled for October 15, while the awards dinner is scheduled for October 21, 2026.
