The Federal Government, through the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises programme, has opened applications for the iDICE Skills to Job Programme, which is designed to equip young Nigerians with practical digital and creative skills for employment opportunities.

The programme is being implemented by the Bank of Industry and funded by the African Development Bank, Agence Française de Développement, Islamic Development Bank and BOI.
300,000 young Nigerians will be trained across the country. The initiative will provide 50,000 training slots in each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, while at least 40 per cent of beneficiaries are expected to be women.
The training is focused on industry-relevant skills that can prepare participants for careers in Nigeria’s growing Business Process Outsourcing industry and the wider global digital economy.
Participants will receive practical training in high-demand technology and creative disciplines, alongside workplace and employability skills. The programme will be delivered by accredited training providers and aligned with industry needs.
Successful applicants are expected to develop in-demand digital and creative skills, learn from experienced trainers and industry professionals, improve their employability and gain workplace-ready competencies.
The programme also provides pathways to employment opportunities within Nigeria’s growing BPO ecosystem and the global outsourcing industry. Applications and training are completely free.
Note that Applications are organised according to geopolitical zones. Applicants are expected to select the zone corresponding to their state of residence before beginning the application process.
The six zones are North Central, North East, North West, South East, South South and South West. The North Central zone covers Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau and the Federal Capital Territory. North East covers Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe, while North West covers Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara.
South East covers Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo. South South covers Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Rivers. South West covers Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo.
With equal training allocations across the six zones, the programme is intended to give young Nigerians access to the training opportunity today. Applicants should therefore use the application option for their own zone and state of residence.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to young Nigerians aged between 15 and 35 who reside in Nigeria, are interested in building careers in the digital or creative economy and are committed to completing the training programme. People with disabilities and other vulnerable groups are also encouraged to apply.
