The Katsina Local Government Council has commenced a new competition giving Nigerians an opportunity to test their knowledge of developmental projects and community initiatives carried out by the council’s Executive Chairman.

The competition will focus on different sectors of development projects implemented within Katsina Local Government. For each round, one sector will be selected and participants will be asked a question based on projects completed in that area.
The challenge will be held twice every week on the Katsina Local Government Council Facebook page, giving participants opportunities to learn more about projects and developments across the local government.
Five participants will win cash prizes in every round. Each of the first five people to provide the correct answer will receive ₦10,000, bringing the total prize money to ₦50,000 per challenge day.
Participants will have only 30 minutes to submit their answers, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The exact location of the project and the ward where it is situated will be important when determining whether an answer is correct.
The council said participants must provide complete and accurate answers. Winners will be the first five participants who correctly answer the question within the 30-minute period.
The competition is designed to encourage members of the public to learn more about development projects across Katsina Local Government while giving them an opportunity to win cash prizes.
