The Bank of Industry (BOI) has launched its MyBOI Portal, a digital platform that allows Nigerian businesses to apply for financing, upload documents and track applications online.

The portal provides access to BOI financing facilities, including Non-Interest Banking offerings. Applicants can also receive updates and monitor their applications from submission through assessment and possible disbursement.
BOI said the platform is designed to make the financing process simpler and transparent, while improving access to information.
The process begins with creating an account or logging in. Applicants then complete customer onboarding by providing their business profile and meeting know-your-customer (KYC) and verification requirements.
After submitting an application and supporting documents, the business undergoes a pre-credit assessment to determine initial eligibility. BOI then carries out a detailed credit assessment of the business, project and financial position.
Applications that proceed to approval may receive an offer letter for acceptance. Applicants must meet the conditions stated in the letter before the facility can be disbursed.
The portal is intended for BOI facility products. Grants and intervention programmes are administered separately and cannot be applied for through the MyBOI Portal.
Who can apply?
Nigerian businesses of different sizes, from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to large enterprises, may apply. Businesses must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and operate in an eligible sector, including manufacturing, agro-processing, the digital economy, creative industries or energy.
Typical documents include CAC registration papers, a business plan or feasibility study, financial or bank statements, valid identification and evidence of business premises. Requirements differ by financing programme.
