The FATE Foundation, in collaboration with Meta, has opened applications for the META Transform with AI Nigeria Programme, a practical business growth workshop designed to help established Nigerian businesses use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to attract customers, improve advertising and increase sales.
The one-day programme will focus on practical ways businesses can apply Meta’s AI-powered tools to customer acquisition and sales activities. Participants will learn how technology can support smarter advertising, improve efficiency, expand reach and create new opportunities for business growth.
The training will cover Meta tools including Advantage+, Opportunity Score and WhatsApp Business. Participants will explore how Advantage+ can support more effective advertising, while Opportunity Score can help businesses identify areas for improving advertising performance.
The programme will also demonstrate how WhatsApp Business can help businesses communicate with customers, strengthen engagement and support sales throughout the customer journey.
According to the programme organisers, the workshop is not designed as general digital-skills training or a theoretical AI class. It will feature instructor-led sessions, practical demonstrations, interactive learning and real-world business applications that participants can apply after the workshop.
The programme is targeted at existing businesses with customers and an active presence on Meta platforms. Businesses already advertising on Meta are eligible, while those ready to begin advertising may also apply. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can participate, with priority given to medium-sized businesses.
The Lagos edition is scheduled for October 13, 2026, from 9am to 3pm. The workshop will be held in person in Lagos, while the venue is to be communicated to qualified businesses.
The programme is free, but registration is compulsory.
The workshop is intended to help business owners reach more customers, get more value from advertising, turn customer conversations into sales and work more efficiently. Participants will gain practical insight into staying competitive as AI increasingly shapes digital marketing and customer engagement.
