Keystone Bank has begun sending text messages to some Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (YEIDEP) account holders, asking them to visit a branch with valid identification to regularise their accounts and complete required documentation.
The SMS screenshots carry the heading “YEIDEP Account” and tell recipients to visit any Keystone Bank branch with a valid ID. They do not specify a deadline or list additional documents.
Keystone Bank has previously confirmed its involvement in YEIDEP, an initiative aimed at youth economic empowerment.
How to update YEIDEP
Recipients should visit a Keystone Bank branch with valid identification and ask staff to confirm any outstanding documentation. Beneficiaries can also contact the bank through its official customer-care channels before sharing any personal information. Keystone Bank warns customers never to disclose their PIN, password, one-time password (OTP) or full card details.
