The Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme is processing September 2026 stipends alongside outstanding payments for eligible beneficiaries, according to information disclosed at a meeting involving TVET officials on Friday.
The Federal Ministry of Education reportedly plan to combine September payments with outstanding July and August stipends for eligible trainees who have not been paid. A supplementary list is being processed to reconcile the outstanding payments, although no specific disbursement date was announced.
Six training centres reportedly experienced payment failures for July and August. The affected centres will be contacted to provide alternative account numbers so the payments can be reinitiated.
How to qualify
Beneficiaries must have met the required 65 per cent attendance threshold for July and August to qualify for the outstanding stipends. They should monitor official TVET updates for further information.
