The Federal Government has begun disbursing September 2026 stipends under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative, with beneficiaries sharing bank alerts showing credits of ₦30,000 on Friday.

The notifications show payments tagged “TVETStipendSep2026” or related TVET stipend references, with credits reported by customers of Zenith Bank, Polaris Bank and Sterling Bank. The alerts indicate that the September stipend payment is reaching some beneficiaries, although the screenshots do not establish that every trainee has been paid.

Following the latest meeting update from TVET officials, training centres will now receive payments for all trainees whose attendance is 60% or above.

The payments come amid attention from trainees awaiting their stipends. Beneficiaries should confirm any credit through their bank account and avoid relying solely on forwarded screenshots.

How to check

Check your bank balance and transaction history for a ₦30,000 credit carrying a TVET stipend reference. If no payment appears, monitor official TVET updates and contact your bank through its verified customer service channels.
