The Nigerian Army is expected to publish the shortlist for its 92 Regular Recruits Intake (92RRI) ahead of the screening exercise scheduled to begin on November 17, 2026.

The Army says shortlisted candidates will report to their respective states of origin for screening from November 17 to December 1. However, it has not announced a specific date for releasing the names.

Applicants should monitor the Army’s official recruitment portal for the shortlist and further instructions. They should avoid unofficial lists or messages claiming that the names have been released.

The Army stated that there will be no pre-selection Computer-Based Test (CBT) and no special recruitment centre. Screening will take place in candidates’ respective states of origin.

Candidates must present original educational certificates, from primary to secondary school, alongside their National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) slips.

The Army warned applicants not to bring electronic or recording devices to screening venues. It also reiterated that recruitment is free and cautioned candidates against paying anyone promising assistance.

Applicants must provide genuine documents. Anyone found to have forged or falsified documents may be withdrawn from training.
