A beneficiary of the Federal Government’s ₦50,000 relief grant has shared a Moniepoint message confirming that consent was successfully given and funds would be received shortly.
The screenshot shows the response: “Dial successful, consent granted. You’d be receiving your funds shortly.” The beneficiary said she downloaded the Moniepoint app and dialled the code in a message from the provider.
The message confirms that her consent was recorded. However, it is not a credit alert and does not prove that the ₦50,000 has entered her wallet. She must check for a separate payment notification or confirm her balance.
The support is provided under the National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI), coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. Selected households receive ₦50,000 through approved providers, including Moniepoint.
How to receive the grant
There is no public application. Beneficiaries are selected from the National Social Register and verified identity records.
Anyone still receiving an official SMS should dial the Moniepoint code supplied and follow the instructions to consent. For enquiries, call the NERSI helpline on 0700-022-2222.
