Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO) has announced admissions into its 9-month Skill-up Acquisition program aimed at empowering young Nigerians with globally recognised technical skills.
“This is a life-changing opportunity for anyone ready to succeed in the construction industry,” the college said.
The training covers Welding and Fabrication (TIG, MIG, ARC), Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Mechanical Fittings, and Plumbing and Pipefitting. It includes six months of classroom instruction and a three-month industrial attachment.
Successful participants will earn a City & Guilds certificate, giving them an edge in the local and international job market.
The only requirement is a school certificate (SSCE). Applications are ongoing with flexible entry. Training takes place at Johnson-Agiri Agricultural Complex, Old Abeokuta Road, Oko Oba Agege.
