Adamawa Fintiri Business Wallet Form is Free, PAWECA Warns

The Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) has issued a warning to the public about ongoing scams surrounding the Fintiri Business Wallet Form. In an official notice dated June 19, 2025, PAWECA revealed that certain individuals are demanding money or favors in exchange for the free business support form.

According to the agency, ā€œPAWECA has been made aware of social media reports alleging that some individuals are demanding money from beneficiaries in exchange for the Fintiri Business Wallet Form. We strongly condemn such acts and consider them saboteurs of the noble intentions of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.ā€

The statement, released by the Information and Media Unit of PAWECA, emphasized that the Fintiri Business Wallet Form is absolutely free. There is no need to pay before or after receiving the form.

ā€œNo payment should be made to anyone to obtain the form before or after payment,ā€ the agency clarified.

PAWECA also addressed reports of inappropriate demands such as sexual exploitation. ā€œIf you are asked to pay money or provide any form of gratification especially Sexual Exploitation to obtain the Fintiri Business Wallet Form, please report the incident to the nearest police station,ā€ it advised.

The agency further urged victims to submit names and phone numbers of fraudsters to their office for proper investigation. The Fintiri Business Wallet is described as a one-time financial aid project for small and medium-scale businesses in Adamawa State.

PAWECA reaffirmed its commitment to promoting small business funding and youth empowerment without interference. The public is encouraged to remain alert and report any suspicious activities linked to this initiative.
