The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), in partnership with Terawork, has launched the Services and Talent Export Hub (NSTEH), a new initiative aimed at growing Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings through digital trade and service exports.
According to NEPC Executive Director and CEO, Nonye Ayeni, the platform aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and will serve as a digital marketplace for exporting professional services in tech, arts, and the broader creative industry. “This project is designed to unlock global opportunities for Nigerian talents,” Ayeni said.
Terawork CEO, Femi Taiwo, added that the NSTEH will give Nigerian service providers more visibility with international clients. “We are proud to provide government-backed support that allows Nigerian freelancers and businesses to confidently scale and sell their services globally,” he noted.
Through this MoU, the platform will connect freelancers to clients abroad, showcase verified skills in ICT, logistics, finance, and tourism, and enable professionals to earn in foreign currencies, which will contribute to job creation and participation in the global value chain.
